[HELP] how to encode AVS2 to H265 video?
#51
no, still can't encode.

i only replace one file ffmpeg.exe in zip with with C:\Program Files\Hybrid\64bit\ffmpeg.exe, then open Hybrid, import the AVS2 10bit file, Hybrid alerts a lot of dll missing.

then i extract the whole zip files in  C:\Program Files\Hybrid\64bit\,  then open Hybrid, import the AVS2 10bit file, Hybrid no alerts any more, but when start, still the same video aborted crashed.

You did set 'NoSynth', correct?

I used:
https://github.com/xatabhk/FFmpeg-avs2-avs3/releases
and ffplay can playback the file.
LOL, the ffmpeg version used is too old (from 2022), it doesn't know fps_mode Smile
So using that version fails not because it can't decode the content, but because Hybrids calls don't work on such an old version. Smile

So is there a way to solve this? Will you release a new dev version to support this?

No, I will not adjust Hybrid to support a 3-year-old ffmpeg version.
You could use an old Hybrid version if you wanted to use that ffmpeg version.
