Encode video stream first
#1
Hello Selur. Using your excellent program for very long time, very helpfull!
Could you please add an option to encode video stream first instead of audio streams as it is now? When I'm converting file with many audio tracks my GPU stalling until all audio doesnt finish and then all CPU cores stalling while video stream being encoded by GPU. If video stream was first in list it would be converted in parallel with audio streams (with parallel subjob processing enabled).

Audio and subtitles get handled first to be able to adjust bitrates for 2pass encoding when a target file size is chosen.
Side note: this isn't something to easily change, since there are a ton of checks to make sure this works and changing the order would also require to also adjust all those checks.

I will think about it and maybe this can be chosen in the farther away future, but for the foreseeable future this will not change.

Cu Selur

Ps.: sadly aside from flacCL there are no (free) gpu based audio encoders out there (afaik).
PPs.: moved thread to 'Small Talk'.

Dev versions are in the 'experimental'-folder of my GoogleDrive, which is linked on the download page.
