No FPS or Progress Meter for SVT-AV1? and filename overwrite setting
#1
Hello. Thank you for making this great program.  This was one of the first programs to use QAAC audio encoder.

I started experimenting with SVT-AV1.  Is the % in the job list the only progress indicator?  It only generalizes the %.

For various other processors, including AOMENC, the frames per second and time to finish show up in the upper or lower area of Hybrid.

Also, where is the setting to prevent Hybrid from overwriting jobs?  I know there's a setting that auto adds ".new" to the end of a job to avoid overwriting a previous job, but I can't find it.  I know there's a thread here from years ago about it but can't find it and can't find a mention of the setting on other forums either.

About the progress: did you use the lastest dev? I thought I adjusted Hybrid there to the latest changes in svtav1s progres indication changes,..
About adding '_new': there are a few places where Hybrid will add a '_new' to the file name automatically, there is no option for it.
You can optionally enable 'Config->Internals->Warnings->Overwrite', but that only will warn you.

Dev versions are in the 'experimental'-folder of my GoogleDrive, which is linked on the download page.

I did not.
I did now.
Works.
Thanks.

I didn't realize how much I'd miss the fps and progress meter on long encodes until not having it.

And it's up to you, of course, it doesn't matter to me since now I know they exist and enable them, but I'd consider having the Start and End time columns in the Jobs list enabled by default. If people see those columns, they should know they can disable them if they want. I didn't know they were an option until happening to read a post here recently that mentioned them.
