The first two preview just showed the source played back by mplayer.
The preview with the error, was the Vapoursynth Preview.
Since it's an avi using telling Hybrid to prefer AviSource through "Filtering->Vapoursynth->Misc->Source->Prefer AviSource for .avi input" might help.
If you abort this, decoding will fail.
Assuming your files have no broken indexes, headers or similar, I would suggest:
a. read the sticky and provide a separte debug output of each of the problems if the other suggestions don't help
b. for the avi: try telling Hybrid to prefer AviSource
c. for the mpeg: clear your temp folder (when Hybrid is closed), and retry it
General advice:
1. move your temp folder to a folder that isn't in your AppData folder, since some virus scanners run amok otherwise.
2. try the dev version (deinstall previous version completely before installing it)
3. set exemptions to your virus scanner for the input, output, temp and Hybrid paths (you can see the current paths under Config->Paths)
4. always, read the sticky and provide a separate debug output for each of your problems.

Quote:I click the icon and, for the first time i click I can see the mouse showing like it is loading something,Sorry, with that info: No idea.
but nothing happens. The subsequent clicks do nothing at all. NADA.
It is like i clicked nothing.

Quote:[.mpg case]This indicates that the source file is indexed by DGIndex which MpegSource needs to decode the file.
The first time i click the button shows, in the program header
some percentage followed by - (DGindex), like "16.00% - (DGindex)"
If you abort this, decoding will fail.
Quote:But after that i get an error message. I uploaded a photo here to show the error. That error either indicates that there is a problem with either the decoding of the source or the created index file by DGIndex.
DGindex happens only once, from now on i get only the error message.
