Reproduce:
Start Program, Do not load any input file
Switch to Prores Codec
VUI shows default value as smpte170m ?

(SMPTE 170M and Rec. 601 use the same conversion matrix for turning RGB into Y'CbCr color values.)
Since 'to input' is enabled, the default doesn't really say much, as that it will be adjusted assuming the source is properly flagged.

=> What is the reason that you deem smtpe170m to be a wrong default?
