Is it a bug ? In previous versions it was a checkbox ,but now it can be set from OFF to 5 ?!
Is it legit ?

It's not a bug, it's a feature, and a cosmetic glitch.
Off is the same as 0 iirc.
But I'll check when I'm back home to be sure.
I updated SMDegrain to be en par with latest Avisynth version.
