Hi,
most of the time I have to crop my material. For cropping I prefer to use the avisynth crop view with activated crop mode, which is really fast and convenient instead the other one with vapoursynth (here even the startup until the editor shows up takes up to 15s and the editor is not so optimal for material, which "moves" over time inside the frame). But for filtering and deinterlacing (qtgmc and so) I try to use vapoursynth most of the time.
So in order to crop the material, I have to change the filter support in the filtering-tab to avinsynth, and after cropping back to vapoursynth in the filtering.
That sounds pretty narrow-minded, but gets really annoying if you have big amount of material to encode. And sometimes I forget to switch back and dont notice that "mistake" until the encoding takes about the double time, because avinsynht was activated
To improve the workflow, it would be better if there was also a drop-down list in the Crop/resize-tab, which is independant from that one in the filtering-tab
