Did you install Vulkan SDK? SRMD will not work without Vulkan SDK.
If Vulkan SDK already installed, maybe problem somehow related to Vulkan SDK and macOS beta?
Check if other Vulcan-based filters work: DeBand -> vsPlacebo or Frame -> Resize -> Waifu2x nvk
