Vapoursynth can handle high bit depth way better than Avisynth and is faster for multi core systems (4+ cores).
Since your encoding is already so slow Vapoursynth might not be an improvement.

Putting Windows in hibernation might work,...

Only way to speed things up on your hardware is probably to use a faster preset.

i use Avisynth for encoding i never use Vapoursynth before

yeah put it in hibernation mode is the only best thing.
thx man!

yeah hibernate is the only better way.
thx
Hi selur. I have a laptop with i7 3678u cpu. Will the encoding process be faster with this cpu if i use vapoursynth instead of avisynth?
Probably depends on the filters you use.
Vapoursynth has better multi threading support thus more cores help more, but for single threaded stuff it is sometimes slow.
-> best try Smile
i'm having same problem here. getting average 20fps on 4k ending about 3 hours both nvenc gxt 1080 ti and p4000
does hybrid uses Vapoursynth by default? how can i check and how to speed up things?
Yes, Hybrid uses Vapoursynth as the default fiter option.
I need more details. If you provide me with a debug output of a typical Job creation I can look at it an suggest possible speedups,...

where do i get that? is there a log file?
