Before I download and embark on learning Hybrid, can you please advise:

Does the Hybrid software deal with the DJI Osmo 4k .mov proprietary codec? I am looking to downscale to 720p and other variations.

My editor has had problems when he uses standard video converters and editing programs to process DJI Osmo 4k footage. Results tend to massively pixelate the Osmo 4k footage and/or drop the sound out.

As a total newcomer to Hybrid, can anyone give me a heads-up on what settings or issues I need to be aware of?

I will do my best to chase up further tech specifics on our situation, but I would greatly appreciate any inital advice.

Cheers,

Chris in Australia
From what I know Osmo uses MP4/MOV (MPEG-4 AVC/H.264) so whether you end up with pixelation should mainly just be a problem of not using a too low data rate,...
Apparently, the issue was resolved by the editor and relates to the encoding by the Sandisk Extreme Pro memory card.

Apparently there is an app available from Sandisk ("resources" on their webpage) that will process/downsize the footage from the Sandisk card.

So it seems to be something proprietary with the way Sandisk writes the 4K. SSeems odd to me.
