I'll look at it some more this evening after work. (probably will remove the old code that even looks for qaac and not qaac64, will report back)

Good to hear, I'll keep an eye out. Big Grin
In case you didn't notice, I send you a link to a new dev yestarday.

Hello Selur, just tested the dev version you sent me.

Well... now Hybrid finds qaac64.exe, but sets it in the wrong place. See:

Thus, the qaac field remains empty:

Maybe it's worth another look when you have time. 😅
damn, a typo, will fix after work
send you a new link

Hello.
With the latest version that you sent me, the problem seems to have been partially solved:

Now qaac64.exe is correctly found by Hybrid and set in the correct place, but it still persists being set also in the SVT-AV1 field, as you can see above. Confused
Should be fixed when cleaning the tools cache.
Hybrid only checked if the binary exists (once they are set), not whether its name does match any requirements.

With every new version of Hybrid I do a clean install, which means fresh settings. But in any case, I would definitely clear the tools cache before reporting back to you.  Wink
And what I reported before about the SVT-AV1 was after doing that.
Really strange.
I can't reproduce the issue here.
Try resetting your defaults.
For SVT-AV1 Hybrid should look for SvtAv1EncApp is the value is empty.
