Okay, so as suspected it was a decoder problem. Smile

MPEG Streamclip is only seeing 30 minutes of the movie, due I guess to no timecode, or breaks in the timecode (and it is not fixing timecode breaks as it usually asks). I am now re-exporting from a very old version of Premiere.
