I had a problem with Hybrid crashing on startup. It turned out to be a compatibility problem with the utility Default Folder X, which enhances open/save dialogs. Adding Hybrid to the exceptions list in Default Folder X solved the problem. This is just an FYI for anyone else who might encounter the same or similar compatibility issue. Thanks to Selur for pointing out that any utility that messes with the Mac window system may cause Qt to crash.
