MS forced Win 11"upgrade" so here I am with issues on many apps. Using Hybrid for first time on Windows 11, and now Hybrid is black. In Windows 10 I've always kept dark mode as default, which still left Hybrid in light mode. It was perfect. However with this "upgrade" Windows 11 kept my settings for dark mode, but now Hybrid is black. The only way I have found to turn Hybrid light again is to disable dark mode completely Windows 11. Problem is I use Dark mode in 90% of the stuff I run. Other apps I use that I don't want dark mode on I can just toggle it off in those apps. So how do I toggle it off in Hybrid?
Not really sure what you did or did not do.
Hybrid by default uses the theme of the OS. Normal dark mode of Windows 11 does not cause any problems here.
Hybrid also allows specifying custom styling by selecting style sheets and/or styles. (Config->View)
If you used a custom styling, and this causes now problems, you could either delete your saved defaults or modify the GlobalDataModel defaults and remove the styling entries from it. (default&co by default are located under: C:\Users\< YOURUSERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\hybrid)

I've never used style theme. I only just learned of it last night trying to find a way to fix this. I don't want Hybrid to use OS theme. I want it white. I've been using Hybrid for years, and it always ignored my OS dark theme. After upgrading to Windows 11, I opened Hybrid, and now it's black.I reinstalled it, and it's still black. I just want it to ignore the OS dark theme.
I found if I set it to Windows Vista it will go white like I want it to, but it resets every time I close it. Anyway I can have is save my preferred view?
Ah, okay I thought the while gui was black and unusable.
Saving your Default settings should work.

Thank you
All is good now.

If you don't like the windows11 dark theme in hybrid, try Fusion - it is gray, not so dark as other one.
