Does the Fedora install work? Vapoursynth and plugins are installed, scripts are in the .hybrid folder but no Vapoursynth. Bestsource did fail to install when doing the plugins, buit installing that manually didn't help.

inside a misc.ini file.
If you start Hybrid from a terminal, it should report where it looks for Vapoursynth and whether it enabled or disabled Vapoursynth support.

usually indicated there is some problem (probably missing filters)
QTGMC with preset="slow", will prooably use:
1. AddGrain
2. fft3dfilter
3. DFTTest
4. EEDI3m
5. vsznedi3 or another nnedi4 compatible filter
6. libmvtools
7. fmtconv
8. Bwdif
9. akarin.dll (optionally)
10. zsmooth (or RemoveGrain)

I suspect not. It should show where the problem is.
If the Vapoursynth Preview fails, it's highly likely the encoding will fail too.

Python exception: No attribute with the name lsmas exists. Did you mistype a plugin namespace or forget to install a plugin?
lsmas.LWLibavSource => LSMashSource
Depending on your Settings under "Filtering->Vapoursynth->Misc->Source" and the type of your source, Hybrid will use a different source filter.
On Linux, mainly: BestSource, LWLibavSource /LSMashSource from lsmas, FFmpegSource2 from ffms2.

libffms2.so and libvslsmashsource.so are both in the plugins folder.
Created a .conf file with UserPluginDir=/home/mike/opt/vapoursynth/vsplugins/. Still get the same error in the preview.
On Linux, filters have to be loaded by the native Vapoursynth.
For some reason your Vapoursynth Version doesn not autoload your filters, which is why I linked the Vapoursynth doc,...
