Hi Selur!

I'm new to Hybrid and exploring it, looking for more flexibility with denoising filters and the possibility of using QTGMC with CUDA eventually, etc.
I've started with a very basic x265 CRF20 slow preset encoding on a 4K HDR/DV source, without any filters activated, nothing else, and I'm surprised to have ultra slow fps (like 1-2 fps...).
Even the projected bitrate is crazy high, like 28000-34000kbit/s.  It was as if a placebo was selected!

When I run the same test with the same x265 settings using other tools like Staxrip or Handbrake, I get between 5-10 fps, bitrate 17000 kbit/s.

Note: I have a Ryzen 9950X3D + RTX 5080 - Windows 11,

Obviously, I'm missing something.

Do you have any ideas of what I could be missing? Sad
If you use the same setting without any Vapoursynth or Avisynth filtering both StaxRip and Hybrid would be the same speed with Vapoursynth, Hybrid can be faster depending on the settings.
=> your settings must differ
I'm also having this issue with any codec, it caps out at about 00.70 fps when a few weeks ago I was getting almost 2 fps. Same settings and everything.
Ryzen 9 9900X3D + RX 9070 XT 16 GB Video Card. I reinstalled the app and it did nothing. I even reinstalled Windows. Did nothing. Attatched are the settings (dual fp32 onnx models). Any help would be appreciated. Smile
Without a debug output or a way to reproduce this, my guess is that it is related to some changed drivers or the vs-mlrt support for them.
Does it differ between using the latest release with the matching vs-mlrt and the dev with the matiching vs-mlrt?
There doesn't seem to be a difference between using the dev version of Hybrid or vsmlrt.
Okay, so it isn't something that changed with the latest dev or vs-mlrt.
Is the speed normal without vsmlrt? Just to be sure the issue is with vs-mlrt and not something like QTGMC or the x264 preset selected, but not applied.

vs-mlrt releases do not mention anything that DML might be slower in newer versions.

Another idea: check that your antivirus solution, has the temp/output/input/engine folder as exceptions listed to now scan, otherwise some it might slow things down.
