Full Version: Crash with ProRes 444 Input After Version Update

I just updated my version of Hybrid to the latest and found that when I use UHD ProRes 4444 as an input the job crashes, regardless of the encoder I select.  I installed a variety of past versions to test to see where the problem arrived, and it seems to be between the 2018.05.25.1 and 2018.06.03.1 updates.

I completely reset the settings on Hybrid and used the x264 encoder, to ensure it wasn't related to the encoder.  I tested ProRes 444's with a variety of metadata - Rec 709 SDR and Rec 2020 HDR, and all fail.  ProRes 422 files work without issue.

I'm attaching the debug logs for those two versions to see if there's something you can spot.  I've rolled back to 2018.05.25.1 for now since there aren't any features from the more recent versions I think I need at the moment.
I see the problem.
The decoder call:
Code:
"C:\PROGRA~1\Hybrid\ffmpeg.exe" -y -loglevel fatal -threads 8 -i "U:\AOC 2018\New Masters 2 - All Logos + Music\AOC_Smoke Grenades HDR Selects 2018_UHDp60_Full Branding+Music.mov" -map 0:0 -an -sn  yuv420p -pix_fmt yuv420p -vsync 0  -f rawvideo -
will look into it if you can share a small sample (a second would be enough) of such a source so that I can reproduce the issue.

I'm uploading the sample files here:

They should be up in about 20 minutes.

Also, I can't get x265 to encode the files at all in this version, even defaulting to a full Hybrid defaults mode.  I'm attaching that log file too.
you mixed versions somehow,..
Code:
2018.06.27 - 11:35:30_Windows 10-64bit_2018.05.25.1 - level 4: Ignored: C:\PROGRA~1\Hybrid\x265.exe: unknown option -- max-ausize-factor
2018.06.27 - 11:35:30_Windows 10-64bit_2018.05.25.1 - level 4: Ignored: C:\PROGRA~1\Hybrid\x265.exe: unknown option -- radl
-> not looking into anything from an old version
got the files will look into it,..
Can't reproduce the issue with current rev 2018.06.23.1
-> if the problem still exists with the current version, create a debug output level 9 of the job creation and share it with me.

I manually purged all of the old files from my Program Files -> Hybrid directory and installed the 2018.06.23.1 build.  That seems to have fixed every problem I was running into, both the ProRes 4444 not reading in, and the x265 not working at all.  I'm betting that somehow the old versions were sticking around when they were supposed to be uninstalled, and creating some bad calls.  Thanks for the help.
