.mkv exporting problems

Quote:I uploaded the debug where I did the job twice below.
I don't get it. The debug output only contains the creation to files with 25fps output, not 50fps.

I'm an idiot, I didn't tick Bob on the output. I'm so sorry. But even so, the output they are a second delay apart.

The sync of the two files you created in the debug output differs?

I done the job twice, overwriting one another. .avi input and .mkv output video has a second delay apart. Right now I'm doing the job with the Bob ticked since I forgot to do that in the first place.

I don't get what you want ot show me with the two screen shots:
1. they show different frames
2. they show different times
3. there is no indication of audio on any of the two screen shots.
-> not sure what you want to tell me with them.

It's hard to describe, like if you play them simultaneously you can notice the audio would play in a slightly different part of the video on the edited .mkv.

Since your debug output only contains the job processing I don't know what the analysis data of the input reported.

If you open the source, set audio&video to passthrough and save the output as .mkv, is that file still sync?

What is the frame count of the input?

If the frame count differs from the source, may be ffms2 has a problem with it. Assuming you got 64bit vfw decoder for the content of your avi installed on the system you could tell Hybrid to prefer AviSource.
If the frame count does not differ, then it might be an issue with the extracted audio.
Hybrid used:
"F:\VHS\Quest In The Flooded Forest.avi" -map 0:1 -vn -sn -ac 2 -ar 48000 -acodec pcm_s16le -f wav -map_metadata -1 -metadata encoding_tool="Hybrid 2022.03.26.1" "C:\Users\kakeh\AppData\Local\Temp\iId_1_aid_1_2022-03-28@04_02_50_6810_01.wav"
If you call that call to extract the audio does it have the correct length?

The input has 75260 frames. If I want to test what you are asking then it going to take about a hour or I do a 30 second sample.

Why are you always quoting my whole post? It's really annoying (especially when I'm on a mobile with limited display space). I know what I have written. Why press the 'Quote' and not the 'Reply' button?

if you can reproduce the issue with a 30 sec sample than use that.

Sorry I mean 75260 frames.

What happen was when switching to Avisynth to Vapoursynth, I forgot tick Bob since they are two separate setting GUIs. I'm going to try the job again with the Bob ticked and hopefully it should fix itself.
