You don't know how to find stuff in txt/xml files but you started wildly copying stufff around?

Open a Windows Explorer window, navigate to wherever you saved your settings.
Use the search and search for the field you want to remove.
This should show one (or multiple) files where that field is listed.
Open each of them with a simple text editor (for example Notepad), remove the line where the field is mentioned.
Save the file.
