This doesn't make any sense. I downloaded 3 different version of the program and I AM NOT running it under the "Run as Administrator" button.
I simply click on it and it aborts, leaving me with "Closing Hybrid, since it's running with administrator rights!"
Is there anyway to get around this?

This should only happen if you run a user with admin rights or disable UAC on Windows 10.
Yes, you can tell Hybrid to ignore that it things you are running with admin rights and might trash your system by running Hybrid.
