Increase Dialogue Volume
#1
Would using  one of the DRC presets (Film Light/Standard) help in bringing the loud and soft parts closer to the same volume?
Right now I am trying to convert a surround sound audio to stereo but would like to also "normalize" the volume a bit.
There are a lot f settings and need a good starting point, thanks.

DRC effects are usually relatively weak.
Try 'Audio->Base->Audio Encoding Options->Gain->auto'.
