[HELP] Can't use DGDecNV with an RTX 3080
#1
Hello Selur,

I notice since getting a 3080 that DGDecNV is no longer being used even though I'm forcing it as the deinterlacer.  I wasn't on the latest version but upgrading to 2020.10.11.1 hasn't helped.  Does DGDecNV get disabled/ignored if the CUDA check fails?

If I manually open DGIndexNV I can successfully create .dgi index files so that does work with the 3080.

Debug log in case it's any use:

yes.
When Hybrid reports the CUDA Check it will report the exact names of the cards it checked, if you can tell me the reported name of your 3080 I can add it to Hybrids list of cuda supported cards. Smile

Thanks for the speedy reply!  Smile  Here is the info about the card from the Log tab:

Detected the following cards which seem to lack NVIDIA PureVideo support:   Microsoft Remote Display Adapter   NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080   Microsoft Basic Display Adapter
No card found that's supported by nvenc, the CUDA encoding library. -> Removing CUDA based encoding support. Card name was compared against: https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus

Will send you a link to a dev version which should support the card in ~1/2 hour.

Thank you Selur,  I've tried the dev build but the problem remains.  New debug log:
