[HELP] Couldn't encode Subtitles into videos
#1
I got the latest Windows version (rev 2018.02.03.1)

Trying to encode a video with an ass subtitle. But after encoding finished, I got an output video which doesn't have sub encoded.

Is there something special needs to be done when using subtitle?

(Both VS and AVS can't output properly.

My steps:
  • start Hybrid
  • load a video
  • enable subtitle and switch to the subtitle tab
  • load a subtitle
  • enable "Embed subtitle in frame"
  • add to "subtitle queue"
  • set output in main tab
  • add to queue

BTW, Hybrid is the best encoder GUI I've used !

Sounds about right, will look at it later when I'm home from work. Pleased create a debug output level 9 of the Job creation compress and attach it here to speed things up.

Dev versions are in the 'experimental'-folder of my GoogleDrive, which is linked on the download page.

Can you elaborate on that?

Found the problem will send you a link to a hopefully fixed dev version in a few minutes via PM.

Got your dev version, but it says "CRASHED" when I add the job.
The Debug output file (level 9) is here.

Thanks for your effort !

Will look into it.
Try using another / simpler folder name then: Bç«™8K
My current guess is that one of the Special characters ist causing the problem.

Yes, the path includes a Chinese character...
However, when I changed the folder name, it crashes again.
The debug file is here
