Compressed Video Not Appearing in Output Folder
#1
Hi,

I am new to this software and attempting to compress a 360 stereoscopic 7kx7k video file weighing 277 GB for upload on Vimeo and YouTube. After 68 hours of compression, the log on the "Base" tab indicated that the video was finished, but it did not appear in the output folder. Please refer to the attachments for the settings I used.

Upon checking the "Jobs" tab, I found that job "State" for 01_video, 02_video, 03_video, 04_cleanUp were all at 100% "FINISHED," but it seems that the job process is stuck on Job ID "05_rename," which has a "State" of WAITING (see attachment).

It has been like this for the past 12 hours, and I am uncertain if this is normal. Should I continue waiting, or is there something else I should do?

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
Matt

No, it's not normal that it's stuck.
Waiting has no meaning.

Since I got no debug output I have no clue what happend and why.
(if you can reproduce the issue with a small sample, create a debug output and share that sample and the debug output with me)

What you can do at this moment is:
a. check your temp folder of whether the encoded audio&video streams exists.
b. in case they exist, multiplex them into a mp4 container. (You can check the muxing command line Hybrid would have used, by disabling 'Minimize job command lines' and adapt that call to your existing files.)
c. clear your temp folder

For a reason I don't understand, I think the temp file got deleted, it's not appearing in my folders and there's a message saying so in the log of the "Base" tab (see picture).

That is only the statistics file from the 1st pass, it's not needed.
The video and audio streams should exist. At least according to the screenshots they were not deleted by Hybrid.
So either they weren't created or they were deleted by something else.

Your screenshot points to:
c:\Users\Mathieu DeBlois\AppData\Local\temp\
As a general advice: I would recommend, to set default Input/Output/Temp paths (under Config->Paths, save those to the defaults) and add these to the exemptions of any virus scanner you might have on your system to avoid having the scanner slow down processing or in some cases mess up the processing.
