when the TRIM function is needed
I use it
1. Davinci Resolve Studio
2. Shutter encoder
3. StaxRip software
because they have a handy preview
please add a Preview, otherwise it’s inconvenient to indicate numbers...

Hybrid, has experimental cut support where you can either enter time stamps or frame numbers.
The Avisynth and Vapoursynth Preview both show frame numbers, Vapoursynth allows showing both frame numbers or time stamps.
=> unclear what you want, so not planning to change anything

I'm not planning to change how the cut support works atm..
Patches for
avsViewer and
vsViewer for them to support such an option through IPC are welcome.
