CPU vs GPU

I have an Nvidia Geforce RX3070 but have always been doing my Deinterlacing and upscaling using the PC CPU, as that's what many people have suggested in the past.

However, does it really make a difference, and how do others go about their processing?

Does is a difference? Yes, same as using different upscalers and resizers.
Whether you can spot that difference depends on the used filters an your eyes.
