[BUG] Resizer Crash
#1
Every time I enable resizer with RealCUGAN to upscale my video footage Hybrid crashes instantly

Even with normal resizer with no additional resizer filters enabled Hybrid crashes in the end.

at the end of ....?
No clue what you are doing.

Make sure you use latest NVIDIA Studio drivers.
Read the sticky, provide details.
Check the Vapoursynth preview, in case it crashes, share the error message in vsViewer.
Got no issues with RealCUGAN or other resizers.
Try latest dev version and see whether it already fixes the problem. (latest dev is in the 'experimental'-folder of my GoogleDriver which is linked on the download site)

Drivers are all up to date
Hybrid version I'm using is 2024.03.26.1 for Windows
Vapoursynth preview is working fine

After I input my video 1472x1080 I check resize 1920x1080 then head to filters and enable RealCUGAN with default settings. Task finishes almost instantly with a final video being 1 frame only + full audio.

Sorry, but no clue why an old version would crash.
=> uninstall old version, download latest dev install latest dev and torch addon.
If the encoding still fails, provide proper details like outlined in the sticky.

Updated the Hybrid version to its latest version but the problem remains, this time the job doesn't even start.

Really strange the debug output, shows that the x264 encoding started, but no further information in the log.
(normally some progress should be detected)
This looks like something is interfering with the communication of the decoder and encoder.
Do you use any antivirus software that might be interfering?

Try:
a. moving temp folder to a dedicated folder output of the users \AppData\Local\Temp folder.
b. adding an exemption in the antivirus software to the Hybrid tmp folder (and Hybrid)
c. try disabling your antivirus software.
(I know that Windows Defender and Malwarebytes both work fine, but there have been issues with some other antivirus solutions before.)
