Suspect that De-interlace filters not getting correct results

No real details (read sticky), no sample,... Dodgy
A few things that might help:
a. If the source was created with a "2:3 pulldown" it's telecined. read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-two_pull_down
b. If your source is detected as something else, it's because it's flagged as something else, so you need to let Hybrid know what the source is. Use 'Filtering->(De-)Interlace/Telecine->Overwrite input scan type to' to do that.
c. Hybrid has a few workarounds for MakeMKV created files, assuming the source is flagged as created by MakeMKV.
d. I can't remember to have removed any TIVTC setting in the last 10 years or so, so I doubt that a setting got removed.
