Thank you Selur.
I installed the same distro onto another drive and your dev build worked out of the box. Nice work. How do I go about adding ffmpeg commands into hybrid, can I do it inside hybrid itself? Quote:I installed the same distro onto another drive and your dev build worked out of the box. Nice work.Good to know. Thanks for testing. You're welcome.
Not sure, I thought this would be a good way to test. I'm quite slow writing stuff out when I'm not used to programs. I've used your GUI since I delved into video encoding and never needed to go into the code

I put this back here, it was a PM.
rolledjoel Wrote: Wrote:hello. I am a bad tester sorry. Not done much of this before and was not aware how linux works or even terms like dependencies.According to the start-up output there is no issue, What issue do you have with FrameCounter? The output on start-up does not show any issues. Do you see any errors? Did you try the dev version of the AppImage? AppImage files need to be set as executable and you usually need to have fuse installed. Read: https://github.com/AppImage/AppImageKit/wiki/FUSE Cu Selur Selur, the reason I thought framecounter is the issue is line 363 framecounter, checksingle: false. it seemed like the only critical thing left. I had same false flags before, then I would install program and they go away. I have tried all builds. Can get ffmpeg to run in program with yadif but not QTGMC. I can't get QTGMC in terminal either, I will cross reference the errors and try to determine which one is further along. "AppImage files need to be set as executable and you usually need to have fuse installed. Read: https://github.com/AppImage/AppImageKit/wiki/FUSE" they are executable, sure I remember installing fuse, will check. Check version for FrameCounter, path: ./FrameCounter, checkSingle: false Check version for FrameCounter, path: ./FrameCounter, checkSingle: false

Hello Selur. This might not be related but I found loading error in jack992 build.I think it was 3.9 python, whatever QTGMC uses to talk to pyhton. python 3.6-.12 were not talking to hybrid. I'm gonna keep at it and maybe try ubuntu. The weird thing is I had QTGMC running in Nobara from the terminal. It may have been me specifically pointing the app with a wrapper I but I don't know for sure. I wiped that install and went onto fedora thinking it would be easier but could not get it to load at all there after mvtools error.

That does not sound like a bug in Hybrid.
Quote:but could not get it to load at all there after mvtools error.Sounds like you didn't properly setup your Vapoursynth environment. Hybrid atm. R72, which requires Python 3.8 or 3.12+. Cu Selur

That ubuntu run got me thinking similar, thank you for confirming that. I then tried to build the add on plugins and broke it building. Now I'm stuck at the script not running so I will try to work out how to fix that later. I think it's prob quicker to reinstall and build vapoursynth from add on pack and hopefully get it working.

Quote:I then tried to build the add on pack and broke it building.I assume you mean https://github.com/Selur/hybrid-vapoursynth-addon, right? Quote:Now I'm stuck at the script not running, so I will try to work out how to fix that later. The stops listed in https://github.com/Selur/hybrid-vapoursy.../README.md should work. If you need help, share proper details. If you already have Vapourynth installed, these scripts will not work out of the box. They assume a system without Vapoursynth&co. Cu Selur
