Right before downloading latest dev version, Hybrid crashed on me after I tried to modify the name of the output file for my video (but prior to starting the job). I exited and restarted the app but received same result. When I downloaded and installed the most recent version, I tried my video again. It starts but can't complete the job. I keep getting “exitCode -22. Crashed with exit status 0” in the logs.
When I’ve clicked on the Vapoursynth preview, a new window opens with that in the display, but after a few seconds, it crashes out (although gui of Hybrid remains open).
When I click on unins000 icon to perform the uninstall, it asks me if I want to remove my settings too. I have clicked No. I reinstall Hybrid and restart my laptop, but when I open Hybrid again with a new job, it continues to crash.
I have contemplated a thorough uninstall using Revo and conducting a thorough scan wherein I could clear all registry items. If I go that route, I’ve saved a backup of the scripts subfolder containing profiles of Avisynth and Vapoursynth with my custom filters preserved.
I’m just perplexed how I can get it running smoothly again.

not sure, what the current state is, if Hybrid starts a debug output would be helpful to know what is happening,..
----
Dev versions are in the 'experimental'-folder of my GoogleDrive, which is linked on the download page. Offline between (including) 29th of June and 5th of July => RochHarz Festival
According to the snipped of the debug output, it crashed due to Vapoursynth.
=> Check the Vapoursynth Preview, it should crash too and show why it crashed.

Would the Vapoursynth Preview test also be recorded for posterity in the debug file?
I've been going through the debugs from yesterday and found several instances of this:
2026.05.28 - 19:45:50_Windows 11 Version 25H2 (64bit)_2026.03.21.1 - level 9: VapoursynthPreview::update,..
2026.05.28 - 19:45:50_Windows 11 Version 25H2 (64bit)_2026.03.21.1 - level 9: not updating vsPreview(2),..
Found this one, too:
2026.05.28 - 19:44:05_Windows 11 Version 25H2 (64bit)_2026.03.21.1 - level 9: VapoursynthPreview set videoStream to nullptr
Yes, crashes of Vapoursynth also log in the DebugOutput.
Those messages can be normal behavior.

I am reviewing all the debug files from yesterday. Is there anything specific I should pick out from them that would help me to determine and explain why Hybrid continues to crash on my OS?

Deinstall Hybrid, install latest dev.
If it crashes in Vapoursynth.
Start with an 'empty' (using just the source filter) script, then add filters one-by-one.
If the preview works, but processing does not it might be general system load / heat that is the problem.
