100 CPU usage
#1
Hi Selur,

I'm trying to run a de-flicker and de-interlace, however it's always 100% CPU usage.

Is there a way to not have it at 100% ?

Because for the amount of time it works on a video, it seems quite excessive. I'm working on a desktop pc with Windows 11, and an 80 minute recorded video.

Hybrid is configured to run it's processes with 'idle'-priority. So using xy CPU should not cause problems, assuming you got no thermal or other system issues.

There is no option to limit all it's processes to xy CPU usage.
You could lower the Vapoursynth thread count,.. that can limit the number of used threads and thus the overall CPU usage.

Cu Selur
