Hi,
I'd like to store in a global profile the fact that I want to have :
crop/resize > Base > Pixel Aspect ratio (PAR) > Convert output to PAR : enabled > Square Pixel (1:1)
so each time i load a video, the output PAR of the putput video would be 1
But when I do that, I have :
crop/resize > Base > Picture Resize > Target resolution : "48" X 476
which doesn't match the video resolutions (and Hybrid warns me after loading a file that the resolution is not correct)
is there a way to avoid this ?

Without a source loaded the target resolution doesn't mean anything.
What I did:
- started Hybrid
- enabled 'Crop/Resize->Base->Pixel Aspect Ratio (PAR)->Convert output to PAR'
- set 'Crop/Resize->Base->Pixel Aspect Ratio (PAR)->Convert output to PAR' to 'Square Pixel (1:1)'
- Saved a new Global Profile ('Config->Profiles->Global profile->Save global profile')
- closed Hybrid
- started Hybrid
- selected the previously saved profile (Config->Global profile->Name)
- loaded the profile (Config->Global profile->Apply global profile)
- checked that 'Crop/Resize->Base->Pixel Aspect Ratio (PAR)->Convert output' is enabled and set to 'Square Pixel (1:1)'
- loaded an anamorphic source file and checked the Crop/Resize-Tab
- checked again, and the 'Picture Resize' settings were adjusted properly.
=> my guess is that you load your 'Global Profile' after loading the source and not before like you should.

Hi,
I did what you wrote and indeed, the height has been updated (I was so sure to have done correctly the 1st time...)
But the Output PAR has been changed also (unenabled)
see
here the screenshots
is it normal ?
in fact I'd like to load many cartoons & apply this parameter to each one during processing : is it possible ?

No clue what you additionally enabled in your profile, for me the steps above work and 'Convert output to PAR' stays at 'Square Pixel (1:1)' when I use those steps.
-> Don't see how to help you with the little information you provided.

nothing helpful there,... that is only you loading a Global Profile which then disabled the debug output,...

Hello,
I did exactly as you wrote yesterday, checked the Crop/Resize Tab, and the 'Picture Resize' settings were adjusted properly - ok
BUT the "Convert Output to PAR" parameter is not enabled anymore - and not set to "Square Pixel (1:1)" anymore :-(
is it normal ?
here is the level 4 log

No clue what you are doing.
I wrote what I did to reproduce the issue and it doesn't happen so you must have enabled something that overwrites or interferes with the settings.
Looking at the info from your source Mediainfo reports:
Pixel aspect ratio : 0.889
Original pixel aspect ratio : 1.000
Display aspect ratio : 1.333
Display aspect ratio : 4:3
Original display aspect ratio : 1.500
Original display aspect ratio : 3:2
since by default 'Config->Internals->Prefer Original->Aspect Ratio' is enabled, Hybrid should detect that source as already being Square Pixel, so there should be nothing to adjust.
-> depending on how broken your flags are try disabling 'Config->Internals->Prefer Original->Aspect Ratio' before loading the source,..

Hi
I cleared the cache, loaded the global profile, disabled the 'Config->Internals->Prefer Original->Aspect Ratio' and loaded a 16x15 PAR cartoon
and the "Convert Output to PAR" parameter was disabled - and not set to "Square Pixel (1:1)" anymore
:-(
would it be useful if you sent me your <profile.xml> so I could try with it & compare with my profile please ?
or if I send you my profile ?
