You might want to read the Ubuntu repository - maintained by djcj thread. On Ubuntu you can install the PPA and download Hybrid and it's dependencies from there with djcj keeping it up to date.

x265 2.6+37 was added.

@djcj: sox, vpx, mplayer/mencoder, gpac, vorbis and opus should also be updated

Is there any update on when a fix might be out for the frame rate issue using the UHD checkbox? It still exists in the version released this month.

It should be fixed,... would need a debug output level 9 of the analysis of the source and the start of the job creation to reproduce.
