Hi. I seem to have an issue with reading DVD-Input and multiple audio-streams on the DVD.
For example, my DVD has 2 audio streams, the first stream is #139 and contains DTS 5.1 Audio.
The second stream is #160 and contains a LPCM audiostream.

When I select "Audio: auto add all" in the Base tab, Hybrid adds 1 stream under Audio, containing 2 audio-streams in 1 line (so without Enter) :

F:\VIDEO_TS;160;dts;6;passthrough;754;;;48000;;en;0;5965.48;dts;0;;don't change;;false;;false;2;false;;;;false;false;;;false;48000;unknown;dts;;false;true;false;;1/1;;;;01;None;;;;;;24;;;;false;1;;;;;;;;;;;;6;false;F:\VIDEO_TS;true;false;;;;6;;;-1;; :*: F:\VIDEO_TS;137;dts;6;passthrough;754;;;48000;;en;0;5965.48;dts;1;;don't change;;false;;false;2;false;;;;false;false;;;false;48000;unknown;dts;;false;true;false;;1/1;;;;01;None;;;;;;24;;;;false;2;;;;;;;;;;;;6;false;F:\VIDEO_TS;true;false;;;;6;;;-1;;

The strange thing is, that both streams are read as DTS, the audio-type of the 1st stream. This issue occurs also when deleting the entry above and add both tracks seperately:

I can reproduce this issue for 3 dvd's, so it look likes hybrid add the correct amount of audio-tracks, but copies the stream info of the first audio-track to all the tracks.

I'm currently using Hybrid_dev_2025.01.25-183659

Please let me know if you need more info or logs.

Without a debug output, I can't tell where the issue originates from.
Might be an issue with the analysis or the 'audio job entry creation'.
If you are unsure on how to properly create a debug output, read the sticky about 'Infos needed to fix&reproduce bugs,..'.

Ps.: As a workaround: remuxing the DVD to mkv beforehand should work.
Okay, I understand.

I've attached the debug file as well the report file in the attachment.

That debug output doesn't contain the analysis of the source.
I need a debug output that:
a. contains the analysis of the source
b. the job creation
I don't need the job processing.
=> please, re-read the sticky.

Thanks for your reply. I've attached the logging to this reply.

Okay, problems seems to be with the analysis.
Can you share one of the vob files of your source? Will need a sample to debug this.

Cu Selur
Strange thing is that, when I select a .vob as single file (and do NOT select DVD Input), the analysis seems to work fine.

And sure, you can have a .vob, will send you a link in a PM. Thanks
Argh, okay in that case the vob file won't help. Sad
I'll have to think about how I can reproduce this here somehow, but non of my DVDs I got on hdd has such a audio stream combination. Will have to scour some old backups to see if I can find some old dvd backup of a disc which allows me to reproduce this.
=> this probably won't be fixed any time soon, so your best course of action would be to not use the dvd input.

Cu Selur
It would be no problem to work around this with selecting a .vob file. But it random works for some dvd's, other dvd's won't. So I decided to report this issue [Image: biggrin.png]
If it does help to provide you with a 'testdvd' for testing, please let me know. For now I work around with seperate video and audio streams.
Sure, if you can provide a testdvd that would help.
