Yes, that is correct since the filter hasn't been updated for 11 years and is abandoned now. (see: https://github.com/dubhatervapoursynth/vapoursynth-ssiq)
+ consensus from other plugin developers was, that the other de-rainbow filters should provide better results and updating it wouldn't make sense.
=> in case someone does and maintains a new version, I'd be happy to add it back. Smile

Hi Selur
With the latest two development versions, Hybrid_dev_2026.08.24-19570 and Hybrid_dev_2026.08.28-183921,
 I had to use NVEncC_9.30_x64
because NVIDIA crashed with NVEncC_9.32_x64

only because my video card drivers will no longer be updated.
I'll see if I can get a new computer in the future.
Argh, but thanks for the info.
That's probably related to "Update to NVENC SDK 13.1." from version 9.31.
Hmm, the 13.1 SDK reports:
Quote:NVIDIA® GPUs based on NVIDIA Kepler™ and later GPU architectures and NVIDIA Jetson™ Thor™ Platform contain a hardware-based H.264/HEVC/AV1 video encoder (hereafter referred to as NVENC).
So I thought old cards, would still work.
What does "NVEnc --check-features" report?

Hi,
I deleted the development versions that were crashing the nvenc encoder. I can't tell you what happened.
Another thing: my video card doesn't even support ffmpeg 8.1.2 - 9.0.1. I have to use version 8.1.1.

I did a hybrid uninstaller with Revo Uninstaller. I did a clean install.

I don't know what happened, but
you don't need to replace your nvenc version with NVEnc _9.30_x64

with the latest development version Hybrid_dev_2026.08.29-10219,
the problem seems to have disappeared.

Thank you
Happy the current dev fixes the issue. Smile

Hi Selur !

Latest SVT-AV1 supports tune for VMAF. Please dont forget to add this feature. Smile
I mean --tune 5.
Thank you very much !
Working on potential vs-jetpack QTempGaussMC support, but adding more tune options should be easy.
Uploaded a new dev,.. which supports tune 0-5
