Hi Selur and everybody,
Thank you for Hybrid, Selur.
I'm busy working through Hybrid, and trying to use your suggestions in a reply to me on Videohelp.
I found the option for Spotless, but cannot locate VHSClean nor Small_Deflicker.
I went through every option, so maybe it's something to be loaded ? I'd really like to use your suggestions on my other videos.
I just need some help to get this done. Please.
Thanking you
Buddy
Small_Defilter: "Filtering->Vapoursynth->Frame->Stabilize->SmallDeflicker"
VHSClean: "Filtering->Vapoursynth->Artifacts->VHSClean" <- this one requires a dev version

Hi Selur,
Thanks.
I don't mean to be annoying, but I still cannot find VHSClean.
I'm using version 2026.03.21.1 of Hybrid and don't see it as per your instructions.

Also, you say it requires a dev version, and where do I get it, and how do I install it ?
Apologies, this is all very new.
Thanks for your efforts.
you seem to have missed:
Quote: Dev versions are in the 'experimental'-folder of my GoogleDrive, which is linked on the download page.
Hi Cu Selur,
I tested with your settings, and they work great. Thank you very much.
Just curious, do I de-interlace during processing, or before ?
If your source is interlaced (couldn't say from the sample I saw due to the minimal horizontal movement) you probably should deinterlace before the rest of the filtering.
But you could also test whether it helps to apply some of the filtering before the deinterlacing on separated fields.

Something I now noticed about the deflickering of my video that you did. Look at the people at the bottom of the screen moving. It seems they look like ghosts almost, instead of fully discernible figures.
What happens if you tell Hybrid, that your source is tff instead of progressive?
(Filtering->(De-)Interlace/Telecine->Overwrite input scan type to->top field first)
I can look at it after work this evening. (Preparing to go to work atm.)
A sample where the horizontal movement of objects isn't mainly in the dark would be better.
