@humanoid86: No clue why you have to insult me by calling me a liar.
I am eager to learn why this clip is not soft telecined, when:
a. deinterlacing it shows typical repeated frames like when deinterlacing a 3:2 pulldown (= telecined) clip. (you can see that in your own clip)
b. Analysing the clip with DGIndex shows just progressive files with frame structure. Using 'ForceFilm'/soft-telecine properly handles the clip.
c. MediaInfo reports it as:
Scan type                                : Progressive
Scan order                               : 2:3 Pulldown
Do you think the clip is not soft telecined? Can you elaborate on why you think I'm a liar?
(Sorry, but I don't really care why you think I'm crazy or why you even post here at all.)

I got that file, and it has the typical repeated frame (A B C D D) that you get when you deinterlace telecined or soft telecined content.

let me know when you download

then I will delete the file and the comment
...
I always change the codec - the first step - to the one that is needed

=> I have no clue where you think that you wrote about that the source being soft telecined (3:2 pulldown) and that your deinterlaced encode contains duplicates, but it was not here.
