Okay, send you a link to a dev version (via the board email function, since you don't accept PMs) for testing where I removed some old code which might have triggered the problem.
-> try wether that version changes anything.

Do you have by change a small file which allows to reproduce the issue?
Can't reproduce this here atm.
Also try whether enabling -> 'Crop/Resize->Advanced Auto Crop Options->Use FFmeg' or '.../Classic scan' helps with the issue.

I enable -> 'Crop/Resize->Advanced Auto Crop Options->Use FFmeg'
and it work.

Okay, will look into it some further later, but using FFMpeg should be fine for now.
