Strange thing is that it starts fine in a UTM VM (assuming Qt and Vapoursynth are installed through brew).

reinstalled qt + vapoursynth and restarted. Still same damaged message. Now running macOS 15.3.

"Open Terminal.app and start typing "xattr -rc ", include a trailing space, and then drag the file or folder to the Terminal.app window and it will automatically add the full path with proper escaping." then press enter to execute the command this should remove the 'com.apple.quarantine' flag from files.
