Using Google Colab for upscaling.
#1
I'm toying with the idea of carrying out video upscaling on the GPUs available on Google Colab. A new GPU for my PC would be nice, but an expense I won't get past my wife :}
I'm struggling getting meaningful scripts written for Real-ESRGAN. The Github repository seems to be out of date and I'm struggling getting the right dependencies/ versions identified, either using the model directly, or trying to get vapoursynth onboard. Yes, I am very much a newbie working with Colab.

Has anyone managed to pull this one off or is it just a pipe dream?

I guess another option could be setting up a virtual machine & running Hybrid on that. Again has anyone had any experience with this?

Moved the thread since it's not really a Hybrid related question.

Dev versions are in the 'experimental'-folder of my GoogleDrive, which is linked on the download page.
