[HELP] Problems on Apple Silicon
#21
Hey I've installed the R72 version with your instructions! Thank you so much!

Also i've installed all extra dependencies that brew itself suggests when installing the formula

Now when I type "vspipe --version" on terminal I'm getting the correct version.

But now I'm getting other type of error, the vsViewer is not finding the "libvapoursynth-script" file, do you know where I can get this file? There is a file with the same name but with an .a file, is another extension that works with vsViewer?

Thank you so much again

Installing Vapoursynth itself should be enough iirc.
Check in vsViewer: Edit->Settings->Paths. 'Failed to load vapoursynth library' usually means it can't find some files.

The path section is already alright as you checked before!
Is there a way to debug which files is missing? I installed the correct version of vapoursynth using your formula and it's calling perfect on terminal also.

Here a screenshot of my path section:

Already in bed, but wasn't the lib path /var/homebrew/vapoursynth/lib ?
Will look at it tomorrow,...

Thank you for all effort for get the app working in macos, it's simply amazing.
Sad that I sold my windows machine and migrated to mac recently, back in windows everything worked proper easily!

Have a great night!

You were correct. The paths are fine.

Just to be sure, try restarting macOS, starting Hybrid, loading a source and then opening the Vapoursynth Preview.
Not sure where the problem is.

Argh,... porting vsViewer at it is atm. to work with Vapoursynth R73 is pain.
Don't have the time or motivation to tackle that any time soon. Sad

I gave up trying and moved to bare Vapoursynth with plugins and scripts taken from inside of Hybrid.app. It works well  Rolleyes

Anyway Selur, thank you so mush for your work! I look for new releases of Hybrid for OS X.

does: https://www.mediafire.com/file/cd3qqe8k2...r.zip/file work for you?
(replace vsViewer in Hybrid.app/Contents/MacOS with this)

Cu Selur

Ps.: also updated the app container to include this vsViewer version.
