as title says... why this happens?

I would say: "x264->Misc->Main->Adjustments->Limit threads by height" is probably enabled.
read the tool-tip and https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1646307
=> that many threads make no sense

thank you very much to point me to the discussion

i just disabled the hyperthreading (from 54 to 36 threads)... leave to 17 threads that make sense usign the formula on doom9 forum...
and right now my processed frames are 104/s ... (before--> 89/s) this make my workjob a little bit faster (just a tqgmc and mcdegrainsharp)
