Hi Selur,
Environment
When processing a Blu-ray playlist containing E-AC3 audio, Hybrid appears to identify the audio stream internally as AC3.
The debug output contains the following entries:
However, the same audio stream is identified elsewhere as E-AC3.
Hybrid subsequently attempts to extract the stream using FFmpeg with stream copying and an
output file.
This results in the following error:
The audio extraction job fails, and the parent job is marked as
Extracting the same stream manually with FFmpeg using the appropriate E-AC3 muxer works correctly.
Expected behavior: Hybrid should distinguish between AC3 and E-AC3 and select the appropriate format when extracting audio streams.
Issue 2: Incorrect Blu-ray playlist duration
Hybrid occasionally reports an incorrect duration when analyzing a Blu-ray playlist containing multiple transport stream segments.
MediaInfo reports the correct overall duration, while FFmpeg reports a significantly shorter duration.
The Hybrid debug output suggests that the shorter duration is subsequently used during playlist validation.
Interestingly, the incorrect duration corresponds approximately to the duration of the final transport stream segment rather than the complete playlist.
Other tools correctly recognize the full playlist duration.
Expected behavior: Hybrid should determine the duration of the complete playlist rather than using the duration of an individual segment.
Additional information
Both issues were observed while processing a Blu-ray playlist under Linux.
They may have separate underlying causes.
A detailed Hybrid debug log is available if needed. As before, I can send you the password for the debug log again if you need it.
I would appreciate your thoughts on whether these issues originate in Hybrid's stream handling or in the underlying FFmpeg/libbluray components.
Thank you for your continued work on Hybrid!
