Hi,

so i re-cleared the tool-cache, launched the command line, & I had
"Failed to create instance of nvEncodeAPI, please consider updating your GPU driver.

No NVEnc support."

I launched "geforce experience" to check for new drivers, I updated one (for games...), and i got this :

Okay, now clear the tool cache and Hybrid will also get that info and should enable NVEnc usage. Smile

now i've "NVEnc" & "NVEnc (ffmpeg)"  Wink

what should i do now ?
choose still x265 as video encoder or ... ?

x265 -> no gpu based encoding
NVEncC -> gpu supported and if you don't need Avisynth&Co gpu only encoding
NVEnc (ffmpeg) -> gpu supported encoding, but 'experimental', normally no gain over NVEncC

So if you want gpu encoding go for NVEncC.

Hi,

when I choose NVEnc, I can't choose CRF anymore ?
I had a look in the different tabs but couldn't find that
Sad 

And I have a lot of little "Info" windows showing the nb of frames, the encoding framerate, etc. & then Hybrid crashes

CRF is something the x264 programmers came up with and that was adopted by the x265 folks and some other codec developers, but not by the NVIDIA folks.
With NVEncC I would recommend with 'variable bitrate (HQ)'.

What version of Hybrid are you using?
These popups shouldn't happen with the last dev version I send you a link to,..
